Canada Top Model 2016

 

Q. Can anyone enter the contest?
A. Anyone male or female between the ages of 16 - 30. If you are sixteen (16) to seventeen (17) years old you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian to be eligible to win.  There are no specific requirements for the type of model the judges will choose. However, we are looking for fashionable, uniquely featured contestants. Event sponsors, associates, employees and their families will NOT be eligible to enter.

Q. Do I have to live in Canada to enter?
A. No. However, the regional fashion show shoot will be held in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, ON. The final show will be held in Toronto, ON. You will be responsible for your own travel, accommodations, and expenses. Only finalists in attendance at the fashion show will have an opportunity to win the overall prize package.

Q. Can I register more than once?
A. No. You can only create ONE (1) Model Profile. Duplicate profiles may result in disqualification.

Q. What do I have to do to register for the Canada Top Model 2016?
A. Complete the Registration form, upload three (3) photos to your profile. One photo must be a facial close-up, one must show the entire body, and the third can be of your choosing. Photos may not be larger than 1MB.

Q. If I'm chosen as a finalist, will there be a fees?
A. Yes. A registration fee of $75. All finalists will receive two (2) digital images from their photo shoot for no additional fee and a copy DVD of the entire show.

Q. Can I register multiple contestants (example: me and my children) for the Canada Top Model 2016?
A. Yes. But each registrant must have their own name and profile page. You will need to fill out an individual registration form for each person. Each contestant will receive a separate registration confirmation. Click here to begin the registration process.

Q. I just registered – what do I do next?
A. Wait for a confirmation email to let you know you have been selected for a Finalist.

Q. How are the Finalists chosen?
A. The 1st round of judging will be based on the contestant submitted photos. Each judge will pick their favorite contestants from each category. Contestants with the highest percentage of overall judge’s votes will be selected as finalists. Judge’s selections will be final.

Q. Who are the judges?
A. Judges names will not be made public until 1 week before the show. They will be very talented in their own respect in many areas such as fashion designing, pageantry, magazine publication, and modeling.


Q. How does the online voting work?
A. After the finalists are chosen, they will participate in a model photo shoot sponsored by Xposuremodeling.com. Two photos of each finalist will be posted to the website during the voting period. Anyone is able to vote online. You can vote for one person, once per day, every day. The judge’s votes will count for 60% of the final tally. Online voters will account for 40%.

Q. Is there an age requirement?
A. Yes. Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 30 years old– but if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must fill out your registration information (if registering online). A parent or guardian must also accompany all minors during the photo shoot(s).

Q. How many finalists will be chosen?
A. The number of finalists will be determined after the registration process closes. It will be based on the number of overall entries as well subject to Canada Top Model 2016 discretion.

Q. How many overall winners are chosen from the Canada Top Model 2016?
A. Three winners will be chosen; in each regional show. However, Canada Top Model 2016 will be using both rounds of judging to search out the best faces. Even if you do not win the overall contest, you may be contacted by Canada Top Model 2016.

Q. How will I be notified if I am chosen as a Finalist, and when?
A. Finalists will be announced after the initial judging process. Please check our website for updates after the registration has closed to see if you are a Finalist. Finalists will also be contacted by phone and email.

Q. How will I be notified if I am chosen as a Winner?
A. Winners will be announced at the night of the regional fashion show a public event at the end of the contest. Watch the website for further details.
